Scope: Creative Direction, Design Thinking & Development

Project Details

Design Process:
I worked with the client’s in-house creative and development team to assess the workbook content and determine the client’s needs and bandwidth for executing the production of a majority of the interior workbook pages in-house. I created 10+ template spreads with text, photos, tables, quotes, and prompts and delivered a package complete with instructional videos, a style guide and documents with production notes for their team to use in completing the design production. I executed several custom graphics, interior spreads and an illustrated cover design – items the client identified as processes they didn't have bandwidth to produce in-house.

How this helps the planet:
The organization inspires the next generation of environmental stewards by providing hands-on experiences for young adults in conservation, service and stewardship of the land. Participants improve trails, plant trees and treat noxious weeds non-native to Montana while learning leadership, teamwork, civic engagement and work training skills. These are the future heroes of conservation and stewardship.

“We are so excited about how this turned out. It looks miles better than our previous journal, and I've heard nothing but good feedback from the folks using it.”

Jessica, Montana Conservation Corps
